The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, accommodating a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable unit features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments and is constructed with sturdy roll-formed 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. The unit includes chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish steel framing and a smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid decking solution.
