The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter kit with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each shelf supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, featuring durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments with double riveted horizontal beams supported front to back to prevent beam rotation under load. The shelves include sturdy, smooth 5/8" thick precut particleboard decking, shipped in two pieces, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. Assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. The open design allows four side access, providing maximum flexibility and adaptability.
