The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The shelving unit features durable and adaptable, open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customized shelf spacing. Its easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components and double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, thereby eliminating back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports provide maximum support and prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and use smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces and offers a cost-effective solid surface.
