The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows access from all four sides, providing maximum flexibility, and it offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelving is finished with a chip resistant gray baked enamel, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking, which ships in two pieces.
