The SC Preferred 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective, solid surface. The snap-in components allow for easy assembly without requiring bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every facility area, and the open design permits access from all four sides for maximum flexibility.
