The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It offers durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to suit nearly every facility area. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and sturdy 5/8" thick precut particleboard decking shipped in two pieces. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into corner posts for structural stability, eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the unit features an open design allowing four-side access. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips.
