The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing sturdy and adaptable shelving. The open shelves allow four-side access and are adjustable at 1" increments. The unit includes a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and smooth, sturdy 5/8" thick precut particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway.
