The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and offers durable, adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
