The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty channel boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and includes 96"W double rivet channel beams for extra support. The assembly is easy with snap-in components—no bolts, nuts, or clips required. The shelving consists of rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint preventing back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the structure and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking. The particleboard ships in two pieces.
