The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The package features sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
