The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible storage solutions. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The shelving offers front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded and is finished with a chip resistant gray baked enamel. The package includes sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the open design allows for four-side access to maximize flexibility.
