The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelving unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway for structural security. The open design allows access from all four sides, providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking as a cost-effective solid surface.
