The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts, providing structural stability and eliminating back and side sway. The front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full loads. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup and expansion with enhanced stability compared to bolting units together. The shelves come with sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick chip resistant particleboard decking shipped in two pieces, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating.
