The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage space, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with a sturdy roll-formed steel frame featuring 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams for vertical adjustment in 1" increments. The boltless design requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling easy assembly with snap-in components and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The shelving system includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The add-on unit comes with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the decking consists of smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard shipped in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface.
