The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving offers easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components and a double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. This unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for vertical adjustability, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The frame is made from sturdy roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the decking consists of smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface. The design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy expansion by joining units for added stability with less construction.
