The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage applications, maximizing storage space with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexibility, and the design enables four-side access. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking shipped in two pieces, providing cost-effective solid support.
