The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It offers durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner post to form a structurally secure joint, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelving unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and incorporates an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and does not require bolts, nuts, or clips, as it uses snap-in components, allowing for easy expansion and stable joining of units without bolting two starter units together.
