The SC Preferred 4-shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1-inch increments, allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1-inch centers, double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1-inch increments, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8-inch thick particleboard wood decking. The shelving uses roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and the design allows easy assembly with snap-in components without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is facilitated by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
