The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The shelving system uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads. It incorporates double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically by 1" increments. The kit includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy and tool-free with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design provides four-sided access and allows for expansion by joining units with stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
