The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The boltless design requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing for easy assembly with snap-in components and the ability to join units for greater stability with less construction effort. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelves include sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. The shelves have various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area, and the open design allows four-side access to provide maximum flexibility.
