The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, allowing open shelves to be easily adjustable at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design offers four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The add-on unit features a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes smooth, precut, 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking for a cost-effective solid surface. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing a snap-in component system. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every facility area, and expansion is simplified by joining units for greater stability without bolting two starter units together.
