The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications, featuring durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, with double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving system provides four side access for maximum flexibility and features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board deck ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving add-on kit offers easy expansion and greater stability when joined with other units compared to bolting two starter units together.
