The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that are vertically adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the solid decking is made from sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard. The design enables easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
