The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, offering a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The shelving features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at the same interval. The unit's chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking provides cost-effective solid support. Assembly is simple, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using easy snap-in components, and expansion is facilitated by joining add-on units, which offers more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every facility area.
