The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, allowing for adaptable open shelves. The boltless design enables easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and facilitates expansion by joining units more stably than bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts for structural security, eliminating back and side sway. Each unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, offering cost-effective solid shelving.
