The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring adjustable open shelves at 1" increments for versatile storage options. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The design allows four side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking for a cost-effective, solid surface. Dimensions and various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area.
