The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The unit features adjustable open shelves that can be positioned at 1" increments and is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The package includes smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, shipped in two pieces, providing cost-effective solid decking. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing for quick expansion and added stability compared to bolting starter units together.
