The SC Preferred 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and durable, adaptable construction for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization for various storage needs. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving system is made from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the shelving. The package includes sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface.
