The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The shelves feature sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard for cost-effective solid decking, which ships in two pieces.
