The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and feature a sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces, offering cost-effective solid surface support. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway and creating a structurally secure joint. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
