The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area, allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 ga steel T-posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking provides cost-effective solid support; the particleboard ships in two pieces.
