The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway, and rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers. The horizontal beams are double riveted and adjust vertically in 1" increments, allowing the open shelves to be adjustable at the same increments. The unit includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick chip-resistant particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability and adaptability suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This add-on unit can be joined with other units for greater stability and easier expansion without bolting starter units together.
