The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and units can be easily expanded and joined for added stability with less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically in 1" increments. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and comes with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
