The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the shelving, while the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking offers a cost-effective solid surface; the particle board ships in two pieces. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, with easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. This add-on unit allows easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
