The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction for structural security and elimination of back and side sway. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage to improve fire safety. The open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Wire mesh ships in two pieces.
