The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, supported by sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Wire decking, which ships in two pieces, promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through racks easily, enhancing fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and offers easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips.
