The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, the durable and adaptable shelving features adjustable open shelves that can be moved at 1" increments. Easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, the shelving unit is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking provide ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to enhance fire safety. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
