The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish offers durability. The wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
