The SC Preferred 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with adjustable open shelves that can be set at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The wire decking ships in two pieces and allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks easily to improve fire safety and potentially lower insurance premiums. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and features easy assembly with snap-in components that require no bolts, nuts, or clips.
