The SC Preferred 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, preventing back and side sway and ensuring a structurally secure joint. The shelving unit allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and snap-in components enable easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire decking, which ships in two pieces, provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and the open design facilitates sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety.
