The SC Preferred 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. The unit features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving system is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing, including rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, preventing back and side sway and beam rotation under full load. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and the wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to enhance fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. Assembly is simple and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
