The SC Preferred 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each level has a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage. The shelving features an open design with four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, it includes front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit contains rugged 2" x 1" 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow throughout the racks, improving fire safety and helping to lower insurance premiums.
