The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The durable shelving features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments for customizable storage. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing and rugged T posts punched on 1" centers, the design includes double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Front-to-back supports enhance stability by preventing beam rotation under full loads. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, while the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish offers durability. Wire decking ensures ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass easily throughout racks for improved fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the add-on unit can be joined with starter units for stable expansion. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
