The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, featuring a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily for improved fire safety. The kit includes sturdy 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Wire mesh ships in two pieces. The shelving system is adaptable to various heights, widths, and depths, making expansion easy by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
