The SC Preferred 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. Constructed with durable 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, it features an open design providing four side access for maximum flexibility. The starter unit includes wire decking shipped in two pieces, allowing ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass easily throughout the racks, enhancing fire safety. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation and eliminates back and side sway through double rivet button stud construction locking the perimeter beams into the corner posts for a structurally secure joint. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications.
