The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is made for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring durable and adaptable storage suitable for various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. Easy assembly is ensured with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Construction includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing providing maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Wire decking is included in two pieces, allowing ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and facilitating sprinkler water flow throughout racks to improve fire safety.
