The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing customization to various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility layout. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock securely to eliminate back and side sway. The snap-in assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling easy setup. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while the wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through racks for improved fire safety.
