The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving system utilizes sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily which improves fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup.
