The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with Wire Shelving features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts, providing a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The shelving unit allows four side access with an open design for maximum flexibility, and includes wire decking that enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the unit. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the wire mesh ships in two pieces.
