The SC Preferred™ 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for customization. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Its sturdy roll-formed steel framing supports maximum load and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and the wire decking is made of two pieces to allow ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips; components snap into place, allowing for expansion by joining units more securely and with less construction than bolting two starter units together.
